2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per user. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

- Attempt to extract our system prompts or training data
- Resell or redistribute access to the service
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content
- Interfere with the service's operation or security
4. Intellectual Property
We own the ComplianceIQ platform, its code, design, and curated regulatory content. You own your uploaded documents. AI-generated outputs are provided for your use but come with no warranty of accuracy or fitness for purpose.
5. Payment Terms
- Subscription billing via Stripe at the prices displayed at time of purchase
- 14-day free trial — no credit card required
- Cancel any time via the billing portal
- No refunds for partial billing periods
- We may change pricing with 30 days' written notice
6. Data
See our Privacy Policy. You grant us a limited licence to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales:
- ComplianceIQ is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is capped at the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content
8. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. You can delete your account from Settings. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy retention schedule.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
